In the center of the Ozark Mountains in Northwest Arkansas is the wonderful and scenic city of Eureka Springs. There we went for a vacation in December when beautiful but dangerous snow was still on the hilly grounds. Eureka Springs is famous for things to do outdoors. That day we went on a guided horseback riding.
Dinner Bell Ranch and Resort.
The owner/guide was a kind and patient gentleman cowboy. I was assigned an awesome and well-behaved horse 🙂 I remember the other horse named Sally; she was moody and easily agitated, and sometimes refused to move her shoe. Along for the adventure was the owner’s dog. We got good company 🙂
From the ranch, we were guided through the woods out to the scenic hilly countryside of the Ozark Mountains. The view was gorgeous even in winter! It was exhilarating!

We were just in for the basic ride to satisfy my thirst for adventure, but Dinner Bell Ranch offers far more.
